Challenges of Transferring Planning Knowledge and Experience to Other Planning Cultures

Can planning approaches to urban and regional development from the Western world, from the US, from Britain, Italy or France or Germany be “exported” to other planning cultures?

The challenge of knowledge transfer between planning cultures will be addressed by planners, who as teachers, researchers or consultants, are working in China, Europe and North America, and are transferring knowledge and planning competence across national and cultural borders. All presentations will be translated into Chinese and English.
