ARL Publishes New Position Paper on the Spatial Impacts of Digitalization
Digitalization requires concrete spatial governance, with regional planning and development playing a central role. The working group “Spatial Impacts of Digitalization” of the LAG Baden-Württemberg has developed key recommendations addressing the areas of “Guiding the Expansion of Digital Networks,” “Public Services and Equal Living Conditions,” and “Data Availability and Planning Processes.” The paper also provides guidance for regional development, political frameworks, and planning sciences.
