Planners’ forum for land-based spatial planning

The Planners' Forum project is a new collaboration led by Vasab, in partnership with Nordregio, Stockholm University, the Estonian Association of Spatial Planners, and the ARL. It aims to create a platform for support and collaboration among spatial planners at all levels of governance, strengthening territorial cohesion in the Baltic Sea region. In response to recent challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, and the energy crisis, the project provides a space for knowledge-sharing and helps adapt to new EU policies.

The ARL's role in this initiative is to support and facilitate the exchange of practical examples and methods through its network of experts, promoting the transdisciplinary synthesis of scientific and practical knowledge to ensure a broad understanding of the issues at hand.
