4.5 Consideration of planning provisions in neighbouring countries and at the European level on different planning levels
The Polish legislator does not require to take such provisions into consideration. In practice there is some co-operation between planning bodies in border regions, yet not on any formal basis. This issue is however ever more frequently raised in discussions on amendments to the Spatial Planning and Management Act. The National Spatial Management Concept as well as the Spatial Management Plans of voivodeships in border regions should consider European objectives as defined in the Territorial Agenda.
