ONLINE CONFERENCE — International conference on sustainable spatial development in the Alpine Space

Due to the ongoing pandemic situation and the resulting restrictions on business travel, we have decided to adapt the format of the international conference "Towards sustainable spatial development - transnational lessons on the safeguarding of open spaces and the reduction of land take" (initially planned as a live event in Berchtesgaden) to an online conference

Towards sustainable spatial development - transnational lessons on the safeguarding of open spaces and the reduction of land take

Tuesday, 19th of October 2021 | 09:00 a.m. - 14:00 p.m. | online conference via Cisco Webex

Instead of meeting in Berchtesgaden, the conference will take place on the 19th October 2021 from 09:00 a.m. - 14:00 p.m. exclusively online. During the online conference, good practices from the different Alpine countries will be presented and there will be an opportunity for exchange with professionals from different Alpine Space countries. The adapted agenda can be found here:

If you have already booked your travel and accommodation, please check the cancellation options and contact us if you are having any difficulties. If cancellation is no longer possible, or only a partial refund is possible, please contact us for a refund (for active participants, such as speakers).

We have received several messages from planners and researchers who would like to attend but are unable to travel due to the current pandemic situation. By converting the conference to an online event, we hope to accommodate these requests and reach a wider audience to facilitate an international exchange of experiences and innovative ideas.

We are looking forward to the online conference!

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
