The ARL Headquarters is the ARL's centre of management and co-ordination, as well as a source of impulses for work in the network.

Its role is to ensure that the ARL consistently performs the functions assigned to it, to organise work in progress and to support the on-going work of ARL organs and research bodies.

The Headquarters makes an active contribution to work in progress and performs informational and advisory roles, both representing a key part of the ARL's service function.
